The Matra/Simca U8 engine.
Two series-I engines alongside eachother, joined on the outputside by chains - hence the name U8. 8 cylinders, 2.58 litres.
It produced 168 HP at 6200 t/m, 215 Nm at 4000 t/m Thats a LOT of torque...
