I have refitted the original Motronic 4.1 injection system to the 1.9l 16v engine. This required the cutting and welding of the manifold and several modifications to the wiring loom. The original airfilter box was discarded and replaced by a smaller K&N filter. This and the airflow sensor is mounted below the throttle body, where the vacuum container used to sit. This is connected to the throttle body by a 70mm diameter flexible duct. The fuel pump and filter is mounted on the chassis below the airflow sensor. Some of the wiring cluttering up the engine bay are left over from the carburator installation (as is the distributor). These will be removed at some point.
