Can't the ones on espace-murena.net be used?

My garage found them invaluable.

I heard a rumor that a special fuseboard was once constructed for the murena, to allow use of modern mini fuses?

The only thing I have heard about is a couple of highly esteemed and particularly creative Murena owners with high educations has considered constructing such a thing - but that there is an alternative solution consisting of a modular fuse/relay box in modern style Grin

Some years ago we made about 50 fuseboards in grp, printed both sides, fitted with modern spade fuses.

Unfortunately it took a long time to sell them and at the time I was surprised there wasn't more demand as the price was about the same as original ones.

Electronics have moved along so much that I suspect there may be an easier alternative now.

I don't think we could make a better approach today, Will.

It surprises me too that it took a long time to sell those 50 boards as I would consider that a very feasible upgrade. Also an easy one, as it would not require any changes to wiring - and any owner could install the board himself. This is unlike an option that I've been somewhat in love with: A complete new fuse/relay housing made with a modular system like this one:

With this system I could eliminate the edge connectors completely, make better contact to the battery (with an 8mm stud), incorporate a relay and wiring for driving lights, make better fusing, install a high current relay to offload the ignition switch of most loads etc...

Size of this configuration is only about 160 mm x 100 mm.

It's a bit pricey however, with all the bits and pieces it is around 150 GBP AFAIR, plus a metal piece cut to fit the module in the original fuse box. But I still fancy the idea.
