Qucik Question - Brake line fittings

I know the rear callipers are M10 * 1.25 can any one confirm that every other fitting is M10 * 1.25? Just about to order a load of fittings and wanted to make sure they hadn't used the more common M10 * 1 on some parts


Yes or No to the following please.
1. Master cylinder       M10 *1.25
2. Front T splitter       M10 * 1.25
3. Front Bulk heads    M10 * 1.25
4. Front Callipers       M10 * 1.25
5. Rear compensator  M10 * 1.25
6. Rear Bulk heads    M10 * 1.25
7. Rear Callipers        M10 * 1.25

I have a set of stainless steel braided brake lines for my 2.2 front brakes. They are M10 * 1.0 as you can see on the photo below.
I installed stainless steel braided lines on my rear callipers and I am pretty sure they also used M10 * 1.0
In his brake overhaul guide, Roy mentions that the Baghera used different treads in the rear calipers. Perhaps that is also the case on the Murena.

To clarify my rear callipers are M10 * 1.25 so may be they are from a Baggy. But the rest of the car other wise I have to start breaking lines and measuring . Hope the rest is m10 * 1 as that is a lot cheaper and easier to sort.

On the Murena's everything concerning brakes is M10 x1.0 except for the rear calipers Banjo system.
The rear calipers on a Bagheera and a Murena are the same.
On the front you can also use Talbot Alpine and solara hoses.
Also some Peugeot 205 you can use.

I found on 1 Murena the Banjo bolt on the picture.
The hose M10x1.0 fits this banjo.
Been looking for this banjo's for some time.
Can't source them anywhere.
It would overhauling brakes on the rear more easy.

Not quite true.

The Bagheera rear calipers had unified threads on their calipers and only the later Murena (or maybe the very last of the Bagheera) had metric threads.

So if you are sure your threads are not M10 x 1.00mm, James, then your car has probably got some early Bagheera calipers with the imperial threads.  I have had many Aeroquip hose sets made up for Bagheera and Murena and I have to be careful to get the correct threads on the respective ends.
