Hello all,
After one year of trying ,I finely am the proud owner of a 1.6 red 1983 Murena. It hasn't disappointed. Since 2000 it was in a barn, unused except for a 25 mile trip to the MOT in 2003. Needs a respray and minor electrical faults such as passenger door elec window, but I think generally I have a good one. I won't pretend to be an expert on car maintainance so any future questions I may have please treat as coming from a novice- thank you :)
As said, the car is running fine, but as I have come to realise, a fault of the seat belt cutting into the headrests seems common. My question is are there any sources of second hand 1.6 dogtooth black and white cloth availabe to purchase. I can see many cars on the net with leather seats but I like the original look. So somewhere there may be old cloth just enough to patch the headrests. Any advice would be welcome.
Many thanks.
Titus Taylor.
