Remember that the drivers side window is authorized for use 30 seconds after ignition OFF and key removed.
I would think that there might be an over-current device built into the BII unit that should stop the window motor when it stops fully closed/fully open.
On pre-BII vehicles there was a separate unit placed inside the door handeling pulse/normal control, but on BII cars this is handeled by BII instead.
So the BII detects pulse or holding of the button and commands the window accordingly.
BII - 26 Track yellow connector: |
Track 10: One touch raise command from button |
Track 11: Normal raise command from button |
Track 24: Normal lower command from button |
Cannot find any Track for pulse lowering so it might perhaps be 12v/GND signal input on track 10.....
BII - 16 Track Black connector: |
Track 3: Drivers side raise output |
Track 4: Drivers side lower output |
So - are you 100% sure your button isn't broken ?? -sending normal raise/lower command instead of pulse command ?
Try altering outputs from BII to see if up now is working and down is now not working (to see if outputs is over current monitored)
