hi everybody,iv managed to strip and rebuild my elec window motors and they work fine.however i think the rest of the mechanisn/gearbox needs stripping.yhas anyone any experiance of this ?? it looks like a days job !!!

Sometimes could help when you clean the guide rails from rust. Demount the harvest bug and clean the metal rails, if they are full of rust, there is small space for window.

thanx.theyre now working.soaked them on satday night,got uop sunday and hey presto theyre working.soaked um in wd40,brilliant stuff---usually

A bit of silicon spray in the door frame guides helps too. I have to spray my Alfas and they are relatively new!
