Very interesting indeed Anders... I have thought about the exact same thing, but have been looking at the Fiat Uno mirrors instead. I know they are not french, but I think they look better than the Peugeot 309, also more like the orig. mirrors. Can be found on Ebay at the same price as 309's, and they will also be availible "forever" Have you seen the front of the peugeot 309 mirrors? http://cgi.ebay.de/Spiegel-Aussenspiegel-Peugeot-309-links-9-85-2-93_W0QQitemZ170260168563QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170260168563&_trkparms=72%3A1132%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14Compared to the uno: http://cgi.ebay.de/NEU-Aussenspiegel-rechts-Fiat-Uno-83-94_W0QQitemZ170260062924QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170260062924&_trkparms=72%3A1132%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14I'll let you know when I get on with my project, though it might be a while Scared of ruining my Murena's original side mirrors during daily use, I'm going to fit a pair of replacement side mirrors. The originals will then go on storage until I need them or for "special use". I think the best match is the Peugeot 309 side mirros for the early model years (they have a metal bar for adjustment, where the later model years have cable adjustment): They are cheap (60€ for a pair) and it looks like Politecnic recommends them. Look here (scroll down): http://www.politecnic.com/vitrage.htmAre there anyone here who has experience with this conversion? Cheers, Anders
