Sorry it's been a while since I've contributed for various reasons but I thought I would share this with anyone needing a replacement EGR valve or as a spare ready to fit and then clean the original at your leisure.
On eBay in the UK at the moment there are new Pierburg EGR valves (Pierburg are the OEM supplier to Renault so they are exactly the same) at a "Buy It Now" price of £45 plus £6.00 postage and packing. There is also a "Make an Offer" option and I can tell you that £40 is accepted. They are the latest version with the black plastic solenoid housing rather the the original design that was made of steel and are about £150 from a Renault dealer.
Just search eBay.co.uk for Renault EGR valve and you will see different adverts all at £45 listing them under such as Renault Master, Traffic, Laguna, Espace and 2.2dCi. They are all the same valve so it doesn't matter which listing you go for.
