The dirty brown steering wheel on the Murena that I have just bought will have to go!  I have a Momo wheel which would look not too bad.  Is there a boss kit available?

Is it likely to still be available or does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell?

Try http://www.simon-auto.de/ . they might be able to help you.
Otherwise the entire steering in the murena is taken from the Talbot Solara.. try asking for that instad.

I fitted a Momo Race to my Murena few years ago. Gorgeous. I could find no one in the UK to supply a boss for the Momo centre, in the end I modified something from MotaLita. Iwasn't too hard, but it would need machining, drilling and tapping.

carrera: Yes, in my old Murena I had the Luisi Victor steering wheel and it was looking good. I prefer the original one, but old steering wheel was damaged by sun, so bought this sports steering wheel.

I have a momo stearingwheel in my murena too.. Think the stearing becomes quite a bit Heavier.

Yup becomes heavier depending on steering wheel diameter of course.
You can fit any steering wheel youd like but need the correct boss and right pcd pattern.
I drilled some holes in one of my bosses  Lips Sealed

I am considering to try out the old steearingwheel instead of the momo fittet now.. just to see how much the steearing becomes lighter

It would be possible but as there is no ring to pick up the contact from the switch it is probaly not worth the hassle.

The only legal steering boss I know of is an Atiwe, which only has 3 x M8 - and the Momo has 6 x M6.
However, I belive Momo made a steering boss for the Talbot Samba, which also fits the Murena.
Then again, I once noticed, that the Samba and the Peut 205 share the same axis pattern. Then Momo suddenly is an almost legal option.
I think, I have both a Momo wheel and a 205-boss laying around somwhere in the garage - interested?
