Hi
In Denmark we have had some really terrible small electric cars such as City-El or Kewit. Also cars like Toyotas Pious are not very attractive or exiting.
But if this is the future of the automobile:

then I can hardly wait for tomorrow.

That B'mer looks nice, but it is still a hybrid. What makes me drool are cars from these guys:

I want their S model sedan for my family car. 0-60 mph in 5.6 sec. Sweet. ;D

The Tesla looks like a nice sports car. But the BMW Vision looks like somthing from out of space. I am wondering what the designers have been taking.

Cool ;D But I don't see any battery, so perhaps he uses a very long extension cord. ;D ;D ;D

I would go for electric at this point and the Tesla S looks really good :)
When it comes to hybrid and the hallelujah-Toyota-Prius stuff i think it is really questionable wether they really contribute anything positive at all to the environment if one take into consideration the full history from born to recycled. I think a small greedy modern engine might prove to be just as good for the environment at this point also taking into consideration that you dont have a sh*tload of batteries to produse and get rid of.
But what can i say about environment ::) - enjoying V6 petrol engines - but they will eventually disappear so one must be selfish enough to have fun while they still can be bought ;D

Indeed, electric cars are not that much better for the environment than a small modern car or a hybrid as is often said, if one takes into account the production of the batteries, the rather short life time of the batteries, the fact that the production of elctricity also causes some pollution, and so on.
If on takes all these into account the production of CO2 of a small modern engine or a hybrid is hardly more.
