Hope you all saw Roy's announcement about Graham Pryme using his car at Brands Hatch next week.
I wonder if the passenger rides will be using both spare seats??

I am going too in my 205 gti, although I doubt anyone will want a ride in that!

Be interesting to see if he can beat my 1:05 round the Indy circuit.

 I hope its raining...
-
Thats a good question, I wonder if 2 x passengers would be allowed? Be rude not to ask though!

I know 1.05 secs. around the Indy Circuit will be impossible on my List 1A tyres. I'd better dig out my 1B's as this seems a good target to aim for.

I am planning hopefully to have a couple of pit garages reserved somehwere between 10 and 15 so we can park both our cars together. Look out for the personalized signs on arrival.

 Cheers,

 Graham

OK, nice one Graham. I didn't know you could reserve garages.

There is another 205 gti going that should be very fast, as it has a 306 gti6 engine fitted.
-
Err you can't reserve garages officially. Don't ask ;)

-
				Ah, mum's the word...

I'm not at all confident my 205 will last the day.
-
Pit Garages are now "officially" resevered.

 Garage 18: GP

 Garage 19: Marconi

If you have a buddy or two we should be able to get 4 x cars in the 2 x garages. I will be there around 07:15

 Cheers,

 Graham

				Marconi?

 Its Macaroni!

My neighbour, and co-driver, is coming in his car, which he might also take round, so that would be cool.
I'll be there at about 7.30pm.

A fantastic day was had by all. My 205 survived the whole day and Graham did beat my best time of 1:04.9 with a blistering 1:02.3. Not that you're allowed to time, of course...

Amongst all the Caterhams/Elises/Evos, not to mention the Ferrari 360, Ford GT40 and Radicals, Graham's Murena must have been the most photographed car of the day!

Here are a couple of pictures...

Yes it was definitely a great day out and it didn't rain either!

If anyone has an interest in attending a track day in their own car in the future, see the attachments for further very useful information.

I would also highly recommend having in car driver instruction at the venue. I took advantage of this in the afternoon and found it invaluable. I couldn't quite find it in myself to try Paddock Hill Bend in 4th. as the instructor thought I should try. I did inadvertently try it in 5th though once! :o

 Cheers,
