Title: Espace III xenon bulb replacement with photos

been driving around with one light out?
then here's how to replace the bulb:

log on to ebay and buy 2 x D2S bulbs such as philips, osram or GE.
replace both sides at once, the colours probably wont match otherwise.

 turn off the lights
 remove 2 plastic pieces over the lights:                   2 screws each
 remove the grill:                                                  2 clips, 3 screws. the 2 lower bolts wont fall out, they have retainers
 disconnect the headlight washers from the light:      2 bolts
 disconnect the multi pin pluigs
 remove the light units
 open the bulb compartment:                                    3 screws, torx T20 tamperproof
 replace the bulb

use Dow Corning DC-4 or similar grease on the seal for the bulb cover
use the same grease on the seals for the multipin connectors.

Many thanks for this outstanding  documented guide.  After approx 270.000 km and 12 years my left xenon bulb gave up, so I'm very gratefull for your guide :-)
