My brown Murena steering wheel is beginning to come apart in the plastic. Probably becaust the foam underneath is turning to dust.
I am therefore looking for a replacement in good shape, as in no cracks in the plastic.
Alternatively I am wondering if any of you have had a steering wheel reconditionend and know who could do such a job???

Hi Jon,
did you manage to find a good solution to replace or revive the steereing wheel?
I am also facing with this problem... but my steering wheel is still in one peice now.

Noone has come forward with a brown steering wheel. I am considering covering it in leather. It should be possible to make a decent looking, and feeling, cover in a soft leather. Might try to get help from an upholsterer I know

I am considering the same...
It would be good to see a photo if you had it done. ;)

I have a very good condition black one but I also have a nice momo leather wheel - so I may consider selling the black Matra one.... Originality might be an issue if I decided to sell in the future though.....

"Interesting" is not a word I would associate with those colours. Butt_ugly comes to mind though. :o

Until now, I didn't realise that "rot" was German for rotten ::)
