Dear All.
I start to have problems with my keys for my Espace JE.
I have lost the push buttons for the remote central locking system on both of the keys.
Do anybody know where I can buy spareparts for the keys such as the plastic housing and the push button ?
Best Regards
Bo

Hi
http://www.nic-tec.com/
Is a small company situated in Nørresundby (which is in the northern part of Denmark). The car company is specialized in modern car electronics including car keys with electronics. If he can fix an Espace key I do not know but he has listed Renault keys at a price of 1500 DKK.

Buy a used key from ebay and use the plastic top with push button on your key.

I'm currently awaiting response from Birkegårdens Autodele on getting new original spare keys. After one month, Renault is still trying to find out whether they can find me a key!
I've tried eBay - I ended up buying an incompatible key. The Espace keys are special for some reason - and apparantly no longer made :o

The Espace keys have Renault part number (not matra) and apparently identical as our Scenic key - but different part number.
If the key is lost, do they order based on kode inside your current key ?
Last time i checked it was no problem to get new keys for JE (by online Dialogys), but that is a couple of years ++ ago now.

Hi
I have been e-mailing with Nic-Tec, and he can fix/ program a new Secnic key, so most likely he will also be able to copy an Espace key.
However he will like very much to see an Espace key before giving a defenit answer. (I live myself just a few miles form the company, but I will not be back in DK before summer).

Programming new chip for immobilizer is hardly any problem, as they are sold uncoded and separately from several suppliers, and there are several clone tools out there - its the remote function that is the real problem.

The electronic s and the key itself are working OK in my case.
I just need the black plastic button and the small metal "Switch part" on the button.

I just found new shells for our keys on eBay:

Very good Anders, perhaps its time to stock a couple of these each :)
