Title: New glass for headlight on Espace JE with Xenon

Hi

The glass on the left headlight on me Grand Espace JE from 01.2002 is damaged. I think it was hit by a stone and part of the glass separated and is stuck inside the lamp  >:(

Is it possible to buy new or used glass only (complete xenon lamps are expensive!).

Any ideas for sellers are welcome.
I live in Denmark, but worldwide sellers are also a possibility.

If the glass is still in one piece with just a pin hole on the outside, you might find a trick I have used will stop wter getting in until you find a replacement.
Clean the outside properly then cut a piece of the wide sellotape, stick it over the damaged area then coat it ith a clear polyurethane varnish or clear nail varnish. It stops water getting into the reflector and lasts quite a long time.

Just for information:
I asked my renault dealer for a original sparepart and got a price... 10554 DKK (~1400 EUR)  ??? :-\

Will find a used part for sure  :D

Another question.
Does anybody know the name of the cover for the sprincler part that pops out for cleaning the headlight ?
That cover fell of on my car and I need to locate a replacement for that...

Just some follow-up information.

Got a used headlight from ebay, it looked very fine and I think it was unused, no signs of it being mounted, might have been on storage for many years.

Front grill needs to be removed, but really not a big job. Easier than expected.
But some of the bolts had to be cut/drilled out and replaced because of rust  :-\.
