Title: Who has a Rancho
Post by: tmrancho2 on February 08, 2007, 02:40:15 pm: As there is supposed to be only ten Rancho's registered as on the road in the UK I was just wondering who has a Rancho out of our members of this forum and where are you located?

And I also got one. I got it last year from another member of the danish Matra Club. He have had it for about 20 years. It was a little bit more rusty than expected. I got some parts from Hans, an now it is back on the road again. It is a 1978, all original. I just need to get the original wheels back on.

My apologies if I have not made that clear I wanted to know who had a Rancho out of the members on this forum and where (in the world) you are, I don't expect all the 10 UK owners even have a computer let alone aware of our little forum.

Or even if they did, they might not have the time to wite in this forum, as they will surely be busy fighting off the "red plague" that seems to fancy these cars soooooo very much :P

I do not think that there are many découvrable around. Are your Ranchos in road-going condition?
I have my X-model, which is more or less in daily use. I have a second Rancho, which is stripped down completely to the bear chassis, and I have finished the rust repair some years ago (this was an enormous job) Further I have broken two Ranchos up in parts, which I have stored for later use.

They are both in need of work, bt they will both be back on the road before next Christmas, one of the two needs only cosmetics to get it ready again.

I live in High Wycombe, ( junction 4 off the M40 motorway, halfway between London and Oxford )

Woud love to meet up with other Rancho owners sometime !!
