Dont have it, but if you get anyone to connect a CLIP on it you can view all detectable faulcodes available and get a printout of them. That would however be Renault DF codes and not EOBD numbers.

If i ever connect on in the near future i will make a pdf of it and post it here. Dont think i can access it without actually being connected to a 2.2 dCi

But that may not help John.  And I have not seen a full list anywhere, certainly not in Renault's literature.

Generic codes and OBD only work if the vehicle uses them!  I am a Renault RTE and know from experience that Renault don't stick to the system properly and don't always use the universal fault codes or EOBD system (which all manufacturers are supposed to).  I complained about this many times and got no response other than 'we know they don't', from the HQ in England.

Their Clip diagnostics is what they base everything on, and it works to their system not the universal one, which is why it is always the first thing to check to give you some idea about a problem - and not just the fault codes which can be misleading anyway.  From experience you know which errors to totally ignore (and there are many!) and which you need to investigate.  Anyone not well versed in the Renault system will not know which to watch and which to ignore.  The system and their software is flawed, but we have to work with it.

You use various screens to investigate ALL the possibilities and 'see' what is happening.  I have had faults that I've picked up on through information in the data screens that was not being flagged by faults and error codes.  No one should rely only on error codes.  I've seen too many incorrect diagnostics through following listed errors blindly.  You have to use your knowledge of ALL the information the system is giving you.  This is why the Clip has to be the first source of info.

Roy,

So my questions here's totally pointless:

I guess I'll just try to get it read at the Renault garage. Wish I could give the car to someone who knew what this car is about. It's so fantastic to drive around, but my blood pressure can't cope with the "character".  ;D

Certainly the Bosch codes mean nothing to me, and I do not see a list of them anywhere; but the Bosch technicians should be able to access or ask their 'system' or 'experts' for help in diagnosing any problems they cannot understand.  To glibly dismiss the vehicle still with faults and charge you, is in my opinion criminal and I would certainly take action to highlight it - either tell them you are informing the press of their actions or actually do it.  The newspapers or media normally love to hear of things like this as they are fond of bashing the garage trade, and also Bosch will not like the bad publicity!  Someone should jump on it immediately.

With possibly much greater info from the Renault system, I might be able to help more, but I no longer have access to the Clip or their @ctis system as I no longer do work for the local Renault dealer.

I still have a recent full Dialogys with fault information, but I need Renault fault codes as well as all the symptoms to use that and try to understand the problem.

Thank you very much Roy. The car's not needed on a day-to-day basis, so I'm in no hurry right now. I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks again!
