Title: Sheet metal in bulkhead/front compartment needed Post by: Murena IRL on June 15, 2009, 11:45:47 am Hi All
I am looking for the metal plates in bulkhead of Murena and under fuse box. - metal plate under the fuse box - metal plate that sits on the bulkhad on passenger side (sits against bulkhead and inner wing - L shaped piece). Anyone help with replacement pieces? Thanks Derek Title: Re: Sheet metal in bulkhead/front compartment needed Post by: krede on June 15, 2009, 12:33:18 pm If everything else fails.. try simon or carjoy .. I believe they brake up cars for spare parts from time to time. so they might be able to help out.
Simon might even have the parts new.. Title: Re: Sheet metal in bulkhead/front compartment needed Post by: murramor on June 15, 2009, 02:37:17 pm I got some second-hand ones which had been powder coated from Carjoy last September. At that time they seemed to have several of each sort.

See the Thread titled "Why did they not galvanize these parts". (page 2 of this forum) It is a relatively simple task, but does require access to a sheet metal bending rig (not necessarily a professional one). The most difficult part of the plate on the passenger side, is to fit one end of the narrow piece to the bulge over the heater blower.
