Title: Some scanned Matra articles
Post by: macaroni on October 13, 2009, 08:14:03 pm
Firstly, the promised article from "Clarkson's Hot 100 - cars to make you go Phwoar"

Murena - it doesn't tell you much apart from Matra apparently made it with the wheel in the middle.

Then some pieces from my son's "1001 Dream Cars" book.

It's quite amazing how wrong much published work can be. Anyone with a steel Murena?

:D He though that when gear lever is between left and middle seat, that it means that driver must be in the middle  :D but he forgot that "normal" is to have gear lever in right hand, and not in left one :D  ;)

In some encyclopedies, you can find lot of non-senses, like that in Murena the opening of front lights was made by special pedal, or that front suspension is McPherson type or that rear brakes were drums...  ::)
