hello romeo,
welcome to the forum.
The car looks a nice base for restoration.
You have to do a lot of work, but when ready you have a nice car to drive, and i think there are not many in Croatia.
Good luck.

Hi Romeo and welcome to the forum. It looks like you have yourself a really good project there! Great to see another Murena being restored. The engine you are fitting is the same used in the 205 GTi (at least according to wikipedia), which is a rather common conversion for 1.6 Murena's. The forum owner here has one, for example.

I'm sure we are all looking forward to following your progress and offer advice, should you need that!

Regards,
Anders :)

No. I think you will have to use the gearbox from the peugeot as well.... which means making new axles too...

You do know that there is a Dutch family of Croatian origin who drive all sorts of Matra sports cars (they're only short of a D'jet). I believe they have published an article in a Croatian car magazine, with all 3 their Murena's (1.6, 2.2, 2.2S tuned to 180 bhp).

Nice colour ;) How are You going to remove the paint from parts where it hadn't to be? Because chassis parts have to be silver - just galvanised, without colour. I mean front nose, wheel arches, etc. Or You are going to make them dark black as the panel under the front windshield have to be?

Maybe I am missing something, but I think he can paint these parts any colour he wants.... :)

The main thing is to get another murena back on the road in good order.
