Yes, and if the condition is like the photos look like ( and the mileage is correct ) it is not too expansive. I´m thinking since three days about this car. But i´m such a poor man actually. Moving to DK wa soooooooo expansive and we need to buy a car here for daily driving. Who was it, who had the idea of the "registreringsafgift" for cars here in DK ?

Sorry, missunderstanding. I know that the afgift for a Matra is not so much here in Denmark. But on all the other cars that people really need !

So my question was, who ever had the idea to take an afgift from the people and decided this ? Was it somebody who used only a bike ? and worked in the neighbourhood ? and had the Dagli Brugsen on the other side of the road ? Just to know the history.

Yes I think that it is a fair price considering the cast of F3 kit, leather seats, Gotti rims with matching tires, Spax suspension  and an engine with 166 HP.

@ northmurena
In most countries is will not be possible to get the Murena on the Dutch Autoscout back on the road however the car is also sold as a track car.

When the car was build and tested the race team had a web page where you could follow the progress and the modifications made. The page was called WH-Racing.nl but the page has been discontinued several years ago.

I just heared from the ( now former) owner of the F3 that it is sold to Germany. Maybe we will see it in Kiel in June ?

@ Hans:

It is interesting, you know the history of the race-Murena. For sure, there would be now chance to get it back on the road. It will be for somebody who is looking for something to play with. But would be interesting to make a test-drive. ;-)

When the Murena was converted into a racecar part of the chassis was cut away. Most countries inspection authorities will not like this; however it makes access to the engine easy :D

The modifications to the cabin are not according to my taste :(

Further the advertisement does not mention if the cars registration papers are available.

The pictures are from the raceteams web-page back in 2006

Not bad at all if you want to do youngtimer. Rulebook is very liberal there, i.e. loads of fun! :-D

I wonder if its a complete engine+gearbox they used from   Saab 9000 - it has the orginal engine mounts and it seems like the turbo is mounted in its right place. However this means that the turbo is mounted between the firewall and engine - This would require a good airflow to get rid off the heat build up from the turbo. Also if the intercooler is placed in the front end of the piping would be VERY long, which leads to a turbo lag.

But WOW I like to see it run and also see more photos of the engine bay - would be cool to mount the 2.0L or 2.3L Saab 9000 engine in a Bagheera :)

@ Lanng: Here you have some pix ong the engine instalation. Frome the shape of the rear wheel suspension arms I can see that the Murena started its life as a 1.6.

@ Oskar: I copied the pictures from the race team's home page back in 2006. (You newer know how long the web-page exists)
The home page has now been closed for many years.

But if you will send me a PM with your email I can send you the pictures that I have.
