Title: Entries for La Vie en Bleu 2011
Post by: GP on May 18, 2011, 04:28:39 pm
I recieved the final instructions and entry lists today for "La Vie en Blue" 2011 at the Bugatti Owners Club Prescott Speed Hillclimb on Sunday 29th. May. See attachments.
The classes have been split this year into upto 2000cc. and over 2000cc. So Andy Owler is in Class 9 in his fine Supercharged 1442cc Matra-Simca Bagheera and I will be in Class 9A in my Duct Tape Special 2.2 Talbot-Matra Murena.
It is very interesting to see that there is a 8000cc Bugatti Veryon in Class 9A. O.K. I know they have heard about my new Limited Slip Differential, but perhaps this a bit of overkill?  :o
Can't wait!

G.P.

Hi GP
You have the advantage of the Murena being much lighter than the Bugatti Veryon so beating the Bugatti should be no problem  :D

We're expecting great things this year with your LSD and rebuilt engine. :)  See you there!

Hi Hans,
Checking out the Veron's specifications I hope for his sake he has the Super Sports Edition?  :D
The Veyron Super Sport features an engine power increase from the standard 1,001 metric horsepower (736 kW; 987 bhp) to 1,200 metric horsepower (883 kW; 1,184 bhp) and torque of 1,500 N·m (1,100 ft·lbf) and a revised aerodynamic package.
