Title: Water free coolant
Post by: KiJa on December 24, 2012, 03:12:56 pm
I saw on television a section of Wheelers & Dealers, where they had a Triumph TR6 during treatment. Since TR6's engine has a reputation for becoming too hot,  mechanic Ed China changes coolant out with some water free coolant. This liquid has frost protection down to minus 40 degrees and has a boiling point of 180 degrees. This would have several benefits.

See the link below:

Is there anyone in this forum who know or have experience with this product.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Kim

I like MOCOOL
Think it's the same as "water wetter", but that's not for sale in Holland.

It's an half litre fluid to add to your normal coolant.

The murena radiator is too small for my rotary engine, and before mocool the temperature was between 90 and 100 degrees.
My temperature gauge dropped 10 degrees after adding mocool.
It's in my coolant for years, and never had a hot moment.
