Title: Re-engineered Matra V12 Engines
Post by: GP on April 26, 2013, 09:49:29 pm
Nicholson McLaren engines (U.K.) re-engineered a number of Matra V12's so that the originals can be kept safe for posterity.

These engines were the ones seen/heard at Le Mans in 2012

See the VERY interesting video on the right of the home page below.

Now just to win the pools and commission them to build me an R.O.C. 16v engine for my Murena!  :D

Why making such complicated decisions ? Just take both engines. ;-) Can´t be a mistake ;-)

Really interesting. However this means that the MATRA Le Mans cars which we saw at Le Mans last years were running with ”reengineered” engines made by McLaren!
