Title: Wanted: Murena steering wheel Post by: TimS on August 14, 2014, 04:48:08 pm I'm looking for a new steering black steering wheel for my Murena.
The foam on mine is very rotten as the car had done over 250k. I am considering getting it leather wrapped, which will be a way of reusing the original but this is expensive and costs about the same as a new wheel from Simon. If anyone has one spare, I am open to offers to buy or trade parts. Difficult for some of our European friends perhaps but if have a lot of body panels for the front of the Murena- bonnet, wings, bumper, lights etc for swap perhaps. Also if anyone knows of a cheaper place to buy one or have it wrapped? Title: Re: Wanted: Murena steering wheel Post by: GP on August 16, 2014, 10:14:09 am Hi Tim,
Yes I have a nice used black steering wheel spare. Do you have any good condition bumper rubber trim front and rear for a trade? (Front is slightly longer than the rear) Cheers, Graham Title: Re: Wanted: Murena steering wheel Post by: TimS on August 18, 2014, 12:22:00 am Hi Graham

You can still use it on the other rubber trim so it won't be a complete waste of money and at least your hands will smell nice! http://www.autoglym.com/products/products/vinyl-and-rubber-care Title: Re: Wanted: Murena steering wheel Post by: Jon Weywadt on October 09, 2014, 02:29:14 pm Does anyone have a brown steering wheel they want to part with? ???
If it is in good condition, that is the vinyl is intact with no cracks, then send me a PM and let me know what you want for it or if there is a part you are looking for. Trouble was, the cheapest quote I could get was £180!!!

I have thought about the leather refinish, but not found a place that will do it.http://www.matrasport.dk/forum/index.php/topic,2510.msg20381.html#msg20381 Hans Did you use the eBay.de shop? I see that the offer has ended. Wonder if they still do it. Do you know anyone else that can do the job? /Jon Title: Re: Wanted: Murena steering wheel Post by: Matra_Hans on October 12, 2014, 04:40:10 pm I had my steering wheel done at this shop: http://www.lenkrad-neu-beziehen.de/
