Anyone recognise this? Shame if it goes for spares.

Yes we know of this car Tim, and the state it's in he would be lucky to get *anything* for it.  There have been better cars given away.  It was seen at the Beaulieu Autojumble recently by another club member who has a Bagheera and knows them well, so I have a verbal report of the extremely poor condition of the chassis - in fact maybe you can't see it in the photos but the LH 'A' pillar is not even attached to the chassis or roof...

Either you have to be someone that is prepared to spend about £8,000 to restore it (complete body off, repair all the chassis, then refit and totally repaint and re-trim it, then attend to all the mechanical and electrical work...) or has no idea what they are getting in to!  It certainly is not worth anything like the money he is asking - that £1,395 is a joke.  There are 1.6 Murena that are roadworthy and have sold for less.

I know of a Bagheera that has had the chassis work done and is a better basis for a restoration and could be had for probably about £500.  Sorry to 'burst the bubble' but this one is probably only fit for spares.

Not surprised really. Seemed a lot of money for it.
