1981 Murena 2.2, 150.000 Km, Antique in Danish MOT. 35.000 Kr. as it drives. 50.000 Kr. if you want all the spare parts too.
Due to arthritis in my hands I can no longer do the work that I think should be done to the car. So rather than having it sitting there, reminding me of what I can no longer do, I will pass the project on to someone who will love it like I do.

I have concentrated on mechanical things and have done the following:
New stainless coolant and heating pipes, including those in the engine compartment and mounting straps.
New aluminium expansion tank.
Renovated water pump.
New thermostat.
Stainless gas tank straps.
Stainless stay and brackets for the bonnet.
Stainless fuse box chassis and lid.
Stainless sheets around and under the radiator.
Stainless hand brake cable.
Stainless brake hoses.
Dual exhaust stainless steel muffler.
Renovated rear brake calibers.
Renovated master brake cylinder, honed and new seals
New gaiters on the rack and pinion steering.
LED driving lights, and LED brake and backup lights.
New windscreen.
Renovated engine head.
Holbay 58C camshaft.
80 Amp generator.

I have numerous new parts:
Brand new unused “S” side skirts.
New timing chain.
New set of steering bolts, upper and lower, both sides.
New brown velour covered door surround seals.
New door seals, for over the window.
New inner/outer window seals.
New window guides.
New gaiters for door-to-chassis wires.
LED turn signal bulbs and turn-signal relay (requires some rewiring)
New modern style fuse panel, ready to be wired in.
New rubber seals to go between upper and lower part of front and rear fenders.
New rubber list for the top of the bumper.

I have numerous used, but good parts:
Injection manifold from Peugeot 505 turbo (fits this engine)
Good set of injectors
Associated air intake and airflow sensor parts
Mega Squirt motor control unit and cabling harness.
Fast acting Lambda probe and mounting fitting to weld on exhaust manifold.
Ferrari style rear hatch.
Extra set of seats (with better drivers side foam)
Extra brown steering wheel in better shape than current.

I am sure I have forgot something, but this is the main items worked and in stock.
I have the work-shop manual and a separate parts catalog.

I have been inactive for some time due to an ankle operation. (Artificial ankle joint)

The car s still for sale and with spring on its way it is time for someone to take over.
It is driving, but needs the finishing touches.

The car has now been sold. I expect the new owner to join the club at som point.

It is with sadness that I let it go for I have had fun despite the challenges.

I will keep an eye on the forum to see what you all are up to.  ;D
