Title: Espace boot liner
Post by: Martin Tyas on December 01, 2006, 10:55:06 am
I recently came across a company in Germany that manufactures boot liners for the Espace and Grand Espace (amongst a range of many other makes/models) and thought I would save myself having to brush or vacuum out the back of the car every time I went to the recycle site with garden rubbish... isn't it so annoying when the stuff always seems to get under that little gap at the bottom of the wheel arch covers?  ::)

I've attached a photo of the liner in my Grand Espace just in case anyone else is interested.
As you will see they are tailored to fit up to the second row of seats and are made of good quality plastic (not just high density foam that some suppliers use).... they have a non-slip centre section, a 4cm deep lip all the way round to retain any crud and when not in use will role up and store in the cardboard box in which they are packaged for shipment.
Prices are £21.99 (31.99 Euro) to fit the Espace and £23.99 (33.99 Euro) to fit the Grand Espace.
Shipping is extra and it cost me £10.99 from Germany to UK.
BTW.... I'm not on sales commission for getting them extra business... just pleased enough with the quality and price that I'm happy to share my experiences.

The web site is http://www.eternalcar.com (in French) and they have stores on e-bay.
For UK it is http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Eternalcar

Thanks Martin, I just ordered one on your advice.
I just wish I'd known about then before I started using my car as a builder's wagon!

That looks nice!

I'll try not to hijack the thread too much, but do you guys use any sort of baskets or nets or something to keep your stuff in the "boot" from not sliding all around the car..? (I guess one could always drive slower... ???)

A couple of plastic storage boxes with welcro tape underneath work very fine for us! - but not on the rubber mat obviously.
