Im after some replacement door lock pins for my murena, mine are plastic and seem to have lost there thread over the years, I imagine its a renault thing but thought i'd check with you guys first as they come with differing threads.... I was going to buy some nice black alloy ones, maybe silver but may look a bit chav? whats your thoughts, maybe i should get plastic ones?

They look exactly like the ones my old Simca 1100 was fitted with.

(About the only part of the car that wasn't rusted away, when I scrapped it :-) )

So my guess is that they are shared with Simca 1100, 1307, 1510?, Solara(Alpine in UK) and possibly others.

It would seem that mid 90's VW polo door lock pins are the same thread, but look a bit dinky as they are very slim. Just thought i'd report my findings....

I don't know where mine are from, but Roy have replaced them at some point with some that don't have a head. For security reasons, of course. I've never seen my car differently, so I think it looks okay ;)
