Hmmm..... THAT much work for a mere 166 hp? hardly seems worth the effort.
..
And one other thing...
Mounting the ECU on the firewall in the trunk?.. really?? ... I have gone to great lengths to mount mine in the cabin instead, as I think it will get far too hot in the trunk.

Well, at least the base is there. Then you should tune it up a little more ~250 HP

As far as I know the 2.5 turbo from the Citroen Cx is very old fashioned... push rod engine if I'm not mistaken...
I think the N9tea would be a far better (and much easier) engine to use.

I think you need to update us on this... last time we heard about your car you had a pair of dellortos, I can't think of a reason to fit an ECU in the cabin for those!!! ;)

One disadvantage: The original tank has been removed and there is only a small alu tank in the boot, as I remember the tank takes only 20-25 litres.

My ECU is also in the boot (trunk for western hemispherical challenged people) - but I have Alucraft on the engine-side of my boot and since that was installed, I can hardly feel any temperature-rise in there at all. It makes a world of difference.

Hmmm... My old Citroen zx had the engine management box fitted in the enginebay.. by the factory.I have Alucraft on the engine-side of my boot and since that was installed, I can hardly feel any temperature-rise in there at all. It makes a world of difference.
Maybe its because this new one is an "after market" or "tunings" ECU that its supposedly more fragile..
Either way, this summer I noticed that it gets very hot in the boot of my car, so Im not inclined to gamble that it wont fry the electronics if I fit it there :)
