Hmmm..... THAT much work for a mere 166 hp? hardly seems worth the effort.
..
And one other thing...
Mounting the ECU on the firewall in the trunk?.. really?? ... I have gone to great lengths to mount mine in the cabin instead, as I think it will get far too hot in the trunk.

Well,  at least the base is there. Then you should tune it up a little more ~250 HP

As far as I know the 2.5 turbo from the Citroen Cx is very old fashioned... push rod engine if I'm not mistaken...
I think the N9tea would be a far better (and much easier) engine to use.

I think you need to update us on this... last time we heard about your car you had a pair of dellortos, I can't think of a reason to fit an ECU in the cabin for those!!! ;)

One disadvantage: The original tank has been removed and there is only a small alu tank in the boot, as I remember the tank takes only 20-25 litres.
I had a long talk with the owner at the international Matra Tref in Northern Germany.

Warmest greetings

My ECU is also in the boot (trunk for western hemispherical challenged people) - but
I have Alucraft on the engine-side of my boot and since that was installed, I can hardly feel any temperature-rise in there at all.  It makes a world of difference.

Hmmm... My old Citroen zx had the engine management box fitted in the enginebay.. by the factory.
Maybe its because this new one is an "after market" or "tunings" ECU that its supposedly more fragile..
Either way, this summer I noticed that it gets very hot in the boot of my car, so Im not inclined to gamble that it wont fry the electronics if I fit it there :)
