Hey Hans, be kind to the man ;) (I know you are!)
I have heard that an old love of his came up for sale, so he's dumping his new girlfriend in favour of the old, I suppose. Aint that right, Bjørn-Anders? :D

Well...
It's up for sale, but that doesn't necessary mean I'm going to sell it..

It's right as Anders says, my old girl, a MGB GT I had a few years - inmnear mint condition - is up for sale at a reasonable price, and I'd really like it back. Only drawback is it is a RHD car, and with the oldest son in the age of test-driving, I should have a manuel driven LHD car. That was the reason for buying the Murena, but as there was more work to do than I thought...

We'll see; no answers to the ad so far  :D

Hi
When I purchesed my first Matra (a Bagheera) I had also considered a MGB. However I found the MGB too commen and well known.

It's still in the garage, and to be honest; I think it will stay there.
It makes a nice opposition to the all the british cars in there...

The only thing I worry about, is how the head is.
As the waterpump was far beyond rescue, and I don't know if the engine has been running hot or not, it's very difficult to tell the state of the head befor having run the car for a while...

A new temp-sender unit is in the post from yours truly Anders, when this is received I dare to run the car for a longer time than I do now.

Only thing needing work then, will be the lowbeam that does not work. Guess it won't be too hard to find the fault, at least not sfter receiving the electric diagram that is in the post from Roy witgh the UK Matra Club.
