espace rear door wont lock!

hello i have just bought espace but i have noticed rear off side door will not lock is there a way i can do this manully? the buttton inside doesnt lock it nor does the remote sensor does anyone know how top fix this!
please help

I have a 1994 espace that that the same problem.
The motor had failed which i replaced also there is a plastic arm which holds the linkages which had also broke.
You can still get the linkage arm and internal door release arm from renault.
The motor can be tested by suplying a 12volt feed to the disconected plug motor end.
do not test the motor with the plug still connected as you could damage the central locking control unit

it is a common one mine has gone aswell just get one from a breakers.
its easy to do.anyone with 2 hands shouldnt have any problems.

hello guys
i bought a new door motor ....tried it nothing!!!
so i decided to stip all plastic trims around door ans passanger footwell......
found it!!! 2 wires had snapped off!!!!!!  replaced these and problem solved!!!!!!!!!!
