oil change warning

Hi All,
My 05 plate(2005) 2.2dci Espace came up with a warning message on the dashboard saying that the oil needed changing soon.
What's wrong with that, I hear you say, well the car had only done 75 miles, thats about 120km for our continental friends, since an engine rebuild and new oil and filter change.
I have changed the oil and filter, just in case, but wondered where the sensor is that would trigger this message.
Is it the oil pressure switch ?
The warning seems to have cleared itself, but I haven't done many miles since the oil change.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Ross, I don'k know for sure but suspect that the indicator is mileage related. I dare say there is a service reset in the ecu for this.
