Hi guys,

Hope everyone is well.

Should there be a 'cover' in the front luggage compartment? Above (or even a 'tray' bleow) the spare wheel etc. (see pic)

My car has no  spare at present and one can see the road through the bottom of the compartment.

Not my car - pic for reference only . . .

The car in the picture has the correct standard arrangement, the spare sits in that shaped tray arrangement..  I'm sure someone who is scrapping a car will have a suitable replacement.

Yes that is correct and normal.  There is no tray or cover.  The front compartment doesn't need to be sealed any more than say an engine compartment.  Even in bad weather though very little water gets in as it happens.

Update: Sorry Brian I thought you meant a cover in addition to the normal front boot moulding that supports the battery and spare wheel.  If you don't have that, I can understand why there is no spare wheel but how is the battery supported?

Thanks guys,

I've realised it's that ^ tray/liner that I need.

Where is best to get one?

Thanks in advance.
