murena 1.6 sills

hi guys,having removed both of my sills ready for repair(half of the lower edges seem to have disappeared on bothh sills)would anyone know as to the finish they would have left the factory in I know,or think,that they were black in color,but mine seem to have been coated in black stonechip.is that correct

They should be  black, though not stone chip.  Some owners paint them in body colour, but in my opinion the black finish makes the car look lower, which I think was the original intention.

thanx Pete.i thimk these will have to be redone in stonechip as my problem would be to get them back to smooth.whatever you use ie heat,thinners etc couls end up melting the actual sill
