It's not a Matra, and manufactured (?) in Monaco it's not quite French, but the Venturi Fetish was demonstrated this evening on Fifth Gear, UK Television, driving very fast around the Monaco F1 streets.

The all-electric car has stunning acceleration up to its top speed of 180kmh and looks great.

It reminded me of The Matra M25 which equally was all about acceleration and light weight. the M25 was built in about 1988, but I pulled out a picture of it last week and couldn't help thinking how very up to date it looks now.
