Interior colours

Can someone tell me what the interior colours were?
And was the interior colour "fixed" with the chosen exterior colour?
Were there particular years in production where new colours were introduced?

Looking at photos, I find grey and black dashboards the best looking. The brown looks very '70s...

Also, I read somewhere that there are 1984 Matra Murenas? I thought they were only produced in 1981-1983?

Regarding the '84 cars

The years in the table above are "production year", which increments sometime in autumn (September) to be able to produce the next years model, in time for the customer-demand. (a practice adopted by all automobile manufacturers). This means that 1984 in fact means during the last months of 1983, the assemblyline shutdown for Christmas, and was only reopened, when it had been converted to produce the Espace.

If you'd checked my website FAQ, you'd have found all the info. on interior and exterior colour schemes, Stian.  It's been up there for some years.  Initially the only interior colour was Honey/Brown but Grey/Black became an alternative and the two were linked to the exterior colours.

Only the 'S' models were chassis plated 1984 but they were all built towards the end of 1983.
