does your transmission have  a reset switch?
try to  disconnect the battery for at  least 2 minutes, reconnect battery and try again.

If gearshift is dashboard fitted you have a broken wire to the 3-D button, happends to them all ! Just dismantle around the selector arm and you will find it, almost 100%
