Brake Master Cylinder
October 12, 2009, 11:17:28 AM
Hi Guys
Does anyone know if the Volvo 400 series brake master cylinder repair kit has rubbers in the kit that seal the fluid reservoir to the master cylinder?
Thanks
John

Just in case anyone is interested, I have purchased a 400 series repair kit and these seals are included and they work!

Bumping this back up to the top ( keeps topics tidy ). I am part way through the refurb of my brakes and currently need the 2 rubber grommets  that go between the Master Cylinder (MC) reservoir and the MC. As a search has shown there are various alternatives. Trying to be a cheap skate does any one have any part numbers for the following that can be bought as individual grommets rather than rebuild kits? (most are £10-20 as the stocks dry up)
Princess    #####
Volvo 480/ 440    #####
Renault (??)     #####

Also on the reservoir the take of for the clutch has been repaired ( not too badly) but I would like to know if you can get a new one,  or if any one has a good second hand brake fluid reservoir for sale?

You could try CB Motors, they have quite a few Talbot and Simca spares - bit of a long shot but worth a try.
