For sale: Matra Murena 1.6 -80 (?) *sold*

The car is written off w/o registration papers, hence, I'm not sure of the year. For spare parts or race car build.

All panels, windows and lights (though dull) are there to my knowledge but much of the interior is gone. I sell the whole car at reasonable offer, but may sell her in parts.

However, my time and energy are limited resources, so this project is scrapped to the favour of a less time consuming one.

I also ship parts at buyers expense. All body panels, windows and lights seem OK. Will arrange detail pictures.

Bad gelcoat/paint on all panels and some minor cracks, but all is possible to fix. Scratched drivers side window, all other windows OK. Rear lights and head lights good apart from the head light mechanism which is replaced by a cable.

I tried to get a grasp of what used Murena-parts were worth, but maybe I got it wrong?

Well, I think they are a bit high.
The Murena is severely underrated, which (thankfully for us owners) makes spareparts rather cheap.

These days there are certain spareparts that have become unavailable, which is where donor-cars like yours come into the picture. Rear light-covers are one of those.

However, you can often pick up a spare-part car for roughtly 1000 EUR - e.g. in Germany. But that of course requires you to have the space to store such a car.

I for one might be able to find a use for the front bumper, but 200E + freight is a bit too much

No, the 205 is sold as well. I've started on a road legal race car based on a Peugeot 309 GTI16 which should be more competitive in the same series as I competed with the 205.

My Murena will now help another Murena to a better life! :thumbup:
