Sluggish speeder V6 24v

My wife has been complaining about the speeder being sluggish, or rather having friction making it difficult to dose a small increase or decrease in power...

I saw a picture of an engine room of a 24v where the speeder cable took the path above the air-inlet. And that helps. here's a picture of how it runs now:



I had to let it free of a fixture, but that's all.

Anyone else had this problem?
