As some of you know, I was at Le Mans this weekend with two friends and two of my boys. On the way down there, we took a detour to Romoratin to see the Museum - and make this a real pilgrimmage Wink
(There are so many Danes at Le Mans that one wonders if it has become a religious place for us? - if so, Tom Kristensen is our new God!  Tongue )

I took a "few" photos... (URL corrected 2011)

While it's a small museum, it is really worth a visit, and so is the town. It's a really beautiful place.

Our 2011 trip to Le Mans again included a visit to the museum in Romoratin. Not much had changed since 2008: It's still an excellent museum with the cars very nicely on display. Except for the size of the museum itself of coruse, the collection and the displays are as beautifully made as the famous Collection Schlumpf in Mulhouse. So if you haven't see the Matra museum yet, do yourself a favour and visit the museum.

My photos are here:

You'll notice that we also stopped at the old Matra factory plant, which has been completely demolished except for the old entrance. The area is now being developed.
