My original hounds-tooth upholstery was beyond redemption (please excuse the dead mouse in the picture)! Smiley

This is the closest that I could find to the 'essence' of the original cloth.  I think it will look OK in the car.

I also got the trimmer to repair the elastic that holds the door pocket closed.

Not bad. And I see the upholsterer has lined up all the squares with the stitching and lines of the seats. Being somewhat familiar with the upholstery trade, I know this would have caused some 'moments'.
I hope Mrs.Mouse has not left the kids behind to reek revenge on your nice new seats.

Congratulations with the seats. It looks like a very nice piece of work. The pattern looks very good, and I'm sure it will match the car very well.

The bikes in the background look great too Wink

I made a major mistake which I mention as a warning to others!  Smiley

I excavated the cellar of our house to display my collection of about 30 classic bikes (mainly 50cc and mainly Italian).  The trouble is that I got too perfectionist and furniture and other bits and pieces appeared.  Now 'she who must be obeyed' allows only 6 of my better ones in what has become 'her' space as well.
