Well in that case I suggest you buy the Haynes Espace manual. It has an excellent and fairly accurate diagram of the J63, which you can use to get the wiring right Smiley

Huh

Mine has several pages in the back with wiring diagrams!
I'm not home right now, so I can't check mine, but what edition do you have?

The front fog lamp wiring is slightly more complex than just a switch, relay and the lamps.  Owing to regulations, the rear fog lamp can only be used when the head lamps OR front fog lamps are being used.  So your front fog lamp wiring circuit allows the rear fog lamp to work if the front ones are on, but must transfer this ability to the head lamp circuit if they are off.  If the head lamps are not on either then the rear fog lamp cannot be allowed to work.  They are also controlled by the ignition circuit, so they go off once the ignition is switched off.

So there are at least two relays to my knowledge and although the wiring was down at the front where you fitted the lamps, I think there is another loom that needs to be fitted for their operation.

Having said all that, have you checked the input and output from the front fog lamp switch?  You should have an ignition feed in and when switched to the on position, a feed out.  Do you have that?  Do you hear a click of a relay or two?

I have the Haynes Espace manual that Anders mentioned, and the wiring is there (12.32) if you know how to read it.
