Hi,
As I'm getting down to fixing the glitches on my Espace I thought I'd try checking out a few curiosities with the instrument cluster.

1
I never get an engine management light come on.
I seem to recal someone saying that there should be one bottom left of the instrument that should come on with the ignition then go off when it starts.
Is this the case ?

2
Theres a guage that goes all the way up when I turn the ignition on then drops down.
I think that on my previouse one when it dropped down it settled about a quarter of the way from the bottom.
I think it's the oil pressure guage.
Is it attempting to indicate the oil level by going up as I turn the ignition on then dropping to show oil pressure afterwards ?
If so mine don't show any pressure.
The oil pressure is there, I think. So if it's not showing pressure that indicates a faulty oil pressurte sender probably.
Does anyone have a picture or something like that for the instrument layout ?

Hi, the engine fault lamp is not active on this one from what i know (too old)

The gauge is oil level on startup only, no oil pressure gauge on these.
