V6 24v GEARBOX OIL CHANGE??

Renault paid for my friend to have a new engine when his second hand diesel Espace broke its timing belt. It was out of warranty but he had bought it from a Renault dealer so I guess they have more 'clout' with Renault.

I did not approach Renault as the belts were replaced by an indipendant Renault "specialist", the previous owner left the receipt (£1287) in the car, I did speak to them though and they explained that even genuine Renault parts (they claim they used genuine parts) are only covered for 12 months.
