Hi
Can any one tell me the torque setting for the front radius arms main bolt and nut to on a 1994 2.0i 8v Espace.

Hello Chris,

Many bolts or nuts don't have torques listed and they expect mechanics to know when and what to use depending on the bolt size.  Renault don't appear to list the torque for this arm, but if the bolt you mean is 18 or 19 mm (across hex head) then common sense would suggest 9 DaN.m should be about right.  If the bolt is smaller then 6.5 to 7 may be more appropriate.  A good mechanic can tell when he is approaching the limit of a bolts strength. (a bad one strips or shears it!)
