Henrik had his D'Jet at Goodwood and I found a photo of it on the Danish Historic Morsport forum yesterday. I immediately asked the poster for permission to post it here, which he accepted. Thanks to John Milland (who is also the guy in the photo)!

The car looks splendid. I like the colour! I can't wait to see it in real life one day, Henrik. I hope you enjoyed it at Goodwood!

John also took some video, which may make it on YouTubo, but it seems our own Matra entusiast Titus Taylor has beat him to it. Take a look at his YouTube channel, where you'll find five short films of the little beauty!

I had a great weekend at Goodwood. The MATRA club in Great Britain had connected me with Roy and Titus, who acted as mecanics for me, and they where great to have along. Thank you both of you.
The Djet went fine, but on practice/timing the rotorarm in the distributor broke, so we fitted a new one.
Roy and Titus tighted, adjusted and polished the car, and we where ready.
About 5 laps into the race it started to misfire, and it became worse, so on lap 7 I pulled in. Roy diagnosed it to the plugs, they where too hot, cooler one would have suited the car better.

But I am extremely happy with the car, and its proformance, the prospect of coming races looks good.

The attachment all down below is John Milland videosequence.
It sound just great, going through the chikane.
Great shot John has done.

That's one cool pair of mechanics you had there! You couldn't have found any better, I'm sure. I'll be looking forward to reading their report in a forthcoming edition of the Matra Magazine!

Thanks for sharing Johns video. Very nice sound!

I wonder if they were photographed in those spotless white overalls before or after the event Smiley
I think that to complete the period image they should both have been smoking pipes. Wink
