Hi all,

I want to lower the front of my Murena. On my old Murena ('81 BX), if I remember correctly I adjusted the torsion bar from underneath the car.

On my '83 (DX) Murena, I cannot see the bolts where to adjust. Can someone pls post with pictures if possible where I adjust the torsion bar?

Thanks
Derek

The torsion bars should be adjusted to get a specific height at a surtain point at the front.

But adjusting one side is also effecting the height on the other side. I found it very difficult to get the right adjusting.

Then i thought: adjusting one torsionbar is effecting the load on that wheel.

So i came up with this:

Measuring the weight on each wheel. That way i was able to get an even load on the wheels.

But when that was done, the position of the two torsion adjusters were very different. One was tensioned much more, and the other side was released much more.  It didn't looked right. So i put the adjusters back where they were.

Sweeeeeet, Bart. I like those bathroom scales!

The adjusters on my 2.2. are quite differently positioned. I think they are correct.
